I just stumbled upon Knotions, a new online magazine with free knitting patterns. Yea!

Curiobot, an archive of strange and wonderful things

I just came across Curiobot. It is a site that selects interesting products that are available on the internet. Some of the items are mass produced, but many are handmade. There are a ton of neat things there. They have listed my fleece Leia Wig among their products. Yeah!

Three great tutorials from Lula Louise

Beth of Lula Louise has three great tutorials on her website.

First there is a super cute easy pleated skirt tutorial.









Next she tells us how to recycle a sweater.

Finally, she shows us how to cover o-rings with a crochet method.

Finding the right knitting needles

Speaking of knitting needles, I just came across a post about finding the perfect tool over at Knitbuddies. She reviews 13 brands of knitting needles. I find user reviews to be incredibly helpful.

Free Pattern: 1 Hour Cardi-Wrap

Besewstylish has a free pdf you can download to make this cute cardi-wrap. It was designed by Anna Mazur who is the contributing editor for Sew Stylish and Threads. I just may have to make one of these.

Scrapblog

I am so excited about Scrapblog. It is a new, multimedia way to share photos and blogs. It is basicly a super fancy digital scrap book that you can put on online or print when you are done. It is a Flash based application and seems really easy to use. No registration is necessary, and it is free. I can't wait to put my first one together! (Via)
