Coraline the Movie

I rushed out to see the Coraline movie on opening day. It was fantastic. I saw the 3D version and the glasses took some getting used to, but they worked very well. The artwork was superb and the music and story were just right. I highly recommend this move.

There are a few fun crafty links for Coraline over at the CRAFT blog including a knitting pattern for the Coraline sweater and a button poster.

Be sure to check out the map on the Coraline website. It is interactive and shows you a bunch of neat stuff.

The Story of Stuff animated short

A friend of mine just sent a link to this great animated short called the Story of Stuff with Annie Leonard. The Story of Stuff is a wonderful little movie that is very eye opening. I wanted to post about this in an attempt to continue occasionally writing about environmental issues.

Knitted Scene from an Animated Video

I was over at the Craftzine blog and came across this amazing knitted scene that toki45 posted at Craftster. The inspiring animated video was for "I Lived on the Moon" from Kwoon's album "Tales and Dreams". The designer and director of the animated short was Yannick Puig.
